BoB reveal freighter contents

In a more light hearted piece of news, BoB pilot Amthrianius of Destructive Influence, claimed to reveal the contents of the DICE / BoB freighters which arrived in H-PA, with the above snapshot.

If the contents are indeed close to the above, perhaps BoBs target isnt D2 but Guritas sovereignty itself!

Thanks for your contribution Mr Amthrianius.

Blog lost all it's credibility when you posted this entry. Otherwised it could have been interesting :S

This post doesnt mean it loses credibility. The picture simply shows what BoB wants people to see and as long as you are intelligent enough to realise that then its equally as useful. After all images of propaganda are constantly used in historic text books, admittedly this is a little more subtle than alot of propaganda, but still with the tiniest bit of critical thinking and intelligence you can clearly see the picture for what it is.

keep up the blog dude!

I'd expect some critical thinking and intelligence to come from the blog writer. Otherwised what's the difference between this blog and any random thread on eve-o?

He called it lighthearted and used the word "claimed" Work it out.

Blog is good so far, looking forwards to updates.

lets do some math....

8000m3 for each tower multiplied by 170 (each tower) equals 1,360,000 m3

Does Bob own some sort of super freighter too?

Just curious really :)

That picture is a fake.
People who have fought against BoB will know that it is a fake.

D2 and friends I hope you can win this war.

There is no war. BoB are just roaming gankers at this point. A lot of serious northern PvPers haven't even bothered coming home for this.

Funny that they would release it... if it were true, and even funnier is the sheer amount of fuel they would need to ship in, since no minni fuel is avalible in the area..

IMO its kinda odd that the big 5 (MM, IRON, D2, RAZOR, and FLA) always get discounted so easily. Perhaps people don't know how deep the loyalty goes.

Looks like most people are busy raping FATAL right now, once that's done I'm guessing a lot of those PVPers are coming to tribute to have a go at BOB. This could get interesting.

Greetings Prof, I was wondering if you had an opinion on the viability of reporting on the war with the co-operation of the combatants?

To save time I'll copy in a thread from the E-Uni forums. Please respond if you have any thoughts on the matter.

Thread commences-----

Reading various threads about the looming 'War in the North' (tm) it strikes me it would be fun to create a Press Corp to bear witness to the events as they unfold. One person has already begun to chronicle the conflict via his blog (http://northernwar.blogspot.com/) and very interesting it is too. However, one man's take on an event is bound to be subject to bias and misapprehension whatever his intentions.

I'm wondering if a small team of thoroughly neutral reporters in small, unarmed ships with minimal mods could be awarded accredited journalist status by both/all sides of the conflict. These people could accompany both sides and report on the action (possibly for Eve Tribune?).

NB: I'd also like to avoid any suggestion of 'embedding' as this may imply a bias, however protecting oneself from NPC's may prove impossible without co-operation from the combatants. Also I'm not necessarily suggesting that a new Corp has to be set up for this and imagine creating a body of work, free of propaganda, for future E-Uni students to study.

In response to to a post about no Corp trusting a 'neutral'-------

I certainly understand your point about people not trusting an 'outsider' but....

1) I would suggest reporting on events after they have occurred so no real-time intelligence would be given away. The idea is to document what happened rather than report 'live'

2) The most damaging espionage is carried out by people operating undercover (ie infilitrating an enemy Corp). You can't trust your own Corp-mates and at least the reporters act openly and declare themselves at all times.

3) You can't prove a negative ie I can't really prove I'm not something, only that I am something (ie. an idiot). Only by being allowed to file accurate reports about events can you prove yourself to be a reporter. It may be a forlorn hope but it would be nice if someone could be given the chance.

4) If all these uber alliances think they're so boss why are they afraid to let a few unarmed pilots accompany them? Pussies.
